1. Who we are

SPMD Tech Solutions provides training, IT infrastructure, networking, web development and IT support services across Quebec. This policy applies to spmdtechsolutions.ca and to your exchanges with us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

2. Person in charge of protecting personal information

You can contact this person with any question, access request or complaint about your information.

3. Information we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address and the content of your message.
• Direct exchanges: information you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp (name, number, description of your needs).
• Technical data: IP address and browser type, logged automatically by our host for security and to keep the site running.

We only collect the information needed for the purposes described below.

4. Why we use it

• To answer your questions and prepare a quote.
• To deliver the services you request, follow up and invoice you.
• To protect the site against abuse and spam.
• To meet our legal obligations, including tax requirements.

We never sell or rent your information, and we do not send you marketing offers without your consent.

5. Your consent

By sending the contact form, you consent to us using your information to answer your request. You can withdraw this consent at any time by writing to us, subject to our legal obligations.

6. Sharing and hosting

Your information is only accessible to the people at SPMD Tech Solutions who need it. Some providers help us run the site and our communications:

• Website hosting: Bluehost, whose servers may be located outside Quebec, including in the United States.
• Email: requests sent through the form reach us through our email service.
• WhatsApp (Meta): only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp. That service is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
• Google Fonts: some of the site’s fonts are loaded from Google’s servers, which then receive your IP address.

When information is shared outside Quebec, we make sure it receives adequate protection, as the law requires.

7. Cookies

The site only uses cookies needed for it to work, for example to remember your language choice and keep it secure. We currently use no advertising cookies or audience-measurement tools. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first.

8. Retention

We keep your information as long as needed to handle your request and follow up on our services, then destroy it securely. Accounting records are kept for the period required by tax laws.

9. Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to your information is limited and protected by passwords and security measures suited to its sensitivity.

10. Your rights

• Access the information we hold about you and get a copy.
• Have it corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Withdraw your consent or ask that your information be deleted, subject to our legal obligations.
• File a complaint with Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information.

11. Confidentiality incidents

If a confidentiality incident poses a risk of serious harm, we promptly notify the Commission d’accès à l’information and the people affected, and we record it in our incident register.

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page.
